At the request of a private collector who wanted a seat on the theme of the minotaure Roland Mellan produced this unique piece. carved wood, metal shelling and multiple layers of lacquer.

CowParade are a worldwide art event: Chicago 1999 and CowParade New York City 2000. Paris, London, Tokyo, Mexico City,  São Paulo and other cities large and small have hosted the Cows, with over 5,000 participating artists.
